Joan Jung
My name is Joan Jung and I have been teaching Social Studies at the Lower East Side Prep High School for a few years. It is my pleasure to work here. The courses offered are Global History, US History, Economics, and US Government. In addition, a few of my other interests are reading, swimming, and music. Course Requirements:
1. Come to class on time.
2. Come prepared for class with a notebook, pens, dictionary and other necessities.
3. Do not leave any of your belongings. You are responsible for your own possessions and schoolbooks.
4. Sit quietly upon entering the classroom.
5. There are to be no smoking, cell phones, eating, drinking, or chewing gum in class.
6. Raise your hand to speak.
7. Respect your classmates, teachers and the property of the classroom.
8. Focus, participate and learn.
Grading Policy:
I. Tests and Projects 50%
II. Homework 20%
III. Class participation 30%
