Leslie Jirsa teaches three different writing courses and Documentary Film Production at LESP.

Prior to coming to education in 2000, Leslie was a writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, and served as Associate Producer for several documentary film productions. Since completing her masters work in both Arts and Humanities and Secondary English Education at New York University, Leslie is proud to have helped develop a thriving culture of documentary film at the school, as well as the esteemed LESP literary magazine, Sardines and Oranges.
